Description of WorkWorks involved demolition of the existing redundant sections to the rear of the Club. Construction involved extensions to both the Eastern and Southern elevations of the Club. Being a coastal location, a nautical theme was adopted including a curved wave like roof to the Eastern elevation of the Club and feature structural steelwork resembling outriggers. The interior of the Club was completely revised including new carpet, painting, tiles, windows and joinery to the new bar, three new sets of toilets, new Strongroom, new Coolroom, General Lounge, Poker Machine Lounge and back of house area including Staff Area and Delivery Dock. A new 26 space Carpark was also constructed. Works were carried out in stages in order to allow the Club to continue operating. All services were updated for the new design including hydraulics, mechanical, electrical, fire detection and prevention, refrigeration and bar services. |
